Privacy policy

RisingTide is a comparison site. We designed it to work without collecting personal information, and the little we do collect exists only to run features you explicitly ask for.

What we collect

• Nothing, for browsing. Comparing providers requires no account and no personal data. We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site tracking.
• Your email, if you set a rate alert — used only to send the alert you asked for, never shared or sold. Every alert email contains a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Your email, if you create an account — we use passwordless magic-link sign-in, so your email is the entire credential. No passwords are ever stored.
• Transfers you log yourself — amount, provider, and date, entered by you to see your savings. Self-reported, visible only to you, and deletable one by one at any time from your account page.
• Outbound clicks — when you click through to a provider we record which provider, the quote shown, and the time. This is how we compute estimated savings and earn affiliate commissions. Click records are not tied to your account or email.

What we never collect

We never ask for or store financial credentials, bank logins, card numbers, government IDs, or your recipient's details. Transfers happen entirely on the provider's own licensed platform.

Where data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (Postgres, hosted in Canada) and the site runs on Vercel. Alert emails are delivered via Resend. Each processes data only on our instructions.

Deleting your data

Delete logged transfers from your account page anytime. To delete your account and everything tied to it, or to unsubscribe from all alerts, email zachspam168@gmail.com and we'll confirm within a few days.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date above and note the change here.
